Lead integrated sales and marketing for a luxury hotel in Prague to drive revenue across Rooms, F&B, Spa, and Events. Manage reputation, host media, and lead Sales, Marketing, and Reservations teams to meet revenue targets and elevate brand presence locally and globally.
The Director of Sales & Marketing will serve as the strategic architect of the property's commercial success and brand identity. You will be responsible for driving revenue across all streams (Rooms, F&B, Spa, and Events) and elevating the hotel's profile within the Prague market and globally, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects European elegance and the "Remarkable Service" synonymous with our brand. This role demands a holistic and results-driven approach, integrating proactive B2B sales strategies with PR, cutting-edge digital performance, and high-level experiential marketing.
Key Responsibilities
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Strategic Commercial & Brand Leadership: Develop and execute an annual integrated sales and marketing plan that aligns with our luxury standards and aggressively drives total hotel revenue.
- Sales Revenue Generation: Proactively manage and grow key segments, including Luxury Leisure, Corporate, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), while optimizing distribution channels.
- Public Relations & Narrative: Act as a primary guardian of the hotel's reputation. Manage high-level media relations, craft compelling press stories, and host international journalists and key commercial partners.
- Product Launches, Renovations & Re-branding: Lead the strategic sales and marketing roadmap for new launches, property renovations, or re-flagging, ensuring a "Grand Opening" impact that captures market share immediately.
- Partnership & Networking: Establish prestigious local and global partnerships with luxury brands, travel networks and cultural institutions in Prague to enhance guest experiences and brand prestige.
- Team Leadership & Synergy: Lead, mentor, and inspire the Sales, Marketing, and Reservations teams.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
YOUR PROFILE
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Luxury Hospitality Sales and Marketing, with at least 2–3 years in a senior leadership role (Director or Head level).
- Market Knowledge & Network: Deep familiarity with the Prague luxury landscape, with an established network of local and international luxury travel agents, corporate buyers, and event planners.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of revenue management, budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven digital marketing.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting/exceeding sales targets and managing large-scale product launches or hotel repositioning.
- Communication: Sophisticated verbal and written command of English; proficiency in Czech or a second European language is highly advantageous.
