This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.

We are searching for a multi-dimensional Director, Quantitative Product Specialist to offer outstanding support for internal and external users of our groundbreaking quantitative products for private market investors. This is a new role for the Quantitative Investment Sciences (QIS) team that combines customer success, technical support, and user research. The Quantitative Product Specialist will be instrumental in defining and executing our maturing support model, including resolving issues, creating materials and capabilities to support users throughout their journey, and finding opportunities for product improvements.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Demonstrates high level of technical competence and the ability to troubleshoot complex application and data issues

  • Is an excellent communicator who can distill technical concepts for non-technical users

  • Excels at building relationships with users and proactively understanding their needs

  • Is highly organized, able to synthesize user feedback, and translate it into actionable insights

  • Can effectively collaborate with SMEs and technical teams to resolve user challenges

  • Is comfortable taking initiative and brings an entrepreneurial attitude to their work

What you will do:

Drive and strengthen client and prospect engagement:

  • Partner with Investor Relations and Client Service to actively engage clients and prospects using QIS tools, positioning them as essential resources for manager selection and portfolio construction.

  • Drive adoption through tailored discussions, impactful presentations, and demonstrations that showcase how QIS solutions elevate investment processes.

  • Host product demos and facilitate deeper conversations with investment experts to highlight QIS as a strategic differentiator.

  • Contribute to lead generation and define success metrics for product engagement and team interactions.

  • Create educational materials, commentary, standard explanatory content, talking points, and presentations that simplify complex quantitative concepts for diverse internal and external audiences.

Partner with investment teams to drive adoption of QIS tools and solutions:

  • Partner with investment teams to integrate systematic, data-driven insights into decision-making processes, improving efficiency and supporting strategies for stronger outcomes.

Drive and Support Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Work with marketing teams to develop compelling product materials, presentations, insights, and thought leadership content showcasing QIS capabilities.

  • Support investor communications by translating quantitative concepts into clear, client-friendly messaging.

Product Development and Competitor Intelligence

  • Partner with Product Management to refine product roadmap based on market trends and investor feedback.

  • Gather competitive intelligence and identify opportunities for product differentiation.

  • Collaborate with marketing to host and attend industry events, broadening QIS brand exposure.

Operations & Reporting

  • Define, measure and communicate KPIs to key internal stakeholders on QIS platform engagement.

  • Enhance cross-functional partnerships and integrate QIS efforts into firm-wide processes.

  • Plug into current workflows and systems to create repeatable, scalable processes that enhance efficiency and impact.

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python, R) and financial modeling a plus.

Education Preferred

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field preferred.

  • CFA or CAIA designation a plus.

Experience

  • 7-12+ years of experience in institutional relationship management or business development, private equity, asset management, or related financial services role with a quantitative focus preferred.

Base Salary Range

$155,000.00 - $175,000.00

This USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. In addition to salary and bonus, total compensation may include eligibility for long-term reward programs and a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Our total rewards offerings are influenced by several business factors, and eligibility for certain components will vary by position and geography. Please note the posted ranges do not apply outside the U.S. and should not be converted to other currencies as a proxy for compensation in other countries.
