JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a seasoned, execution-oriented Director of Product Marketing to own GTM strategy and results across Omnicell's Hospital Solutions pillar - one of the company's largest and most complex commercial segments. This role leads end-to-end product marketing for Point of Care, Anesthesia, Supply, Central Pharmacy, Central Pharmacy Services, and IV, spanning both capital hardware and a growing software and services portfolio sold globally into health systems.

You will lead two sub-teams - Automated Dispensing, and Central Pharmacy - with direct and indirect reports, and serve as the primary PMM interface between product management, sales leadership, and the broader marketing organization. You and your team will translate field and market intelligence into positioning, messaging, and sales enablement that drives pipeline and revenue across every product line in the pillar.

The ideal candidate brings deep healthcare technology GTM experience, proven people leadership in a matrixed environment, and the range to manage a hardware-heavy portfolio alongside an accelerating software and services motion - adapting positioning, selling approach, and buyer engagement to match each.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Pillar GTM Strategy & Execution

  • Own end-to-end GTM strategy and execution across the full Hospital Solutions pillar — Point of Care, Anesthesia, Supply, Central Pharmacy, Central Pharmacy Services, and IV — spanning pharmacy automation hardware, embedded software, and platform products globally.
  • Drive positioning, messaging, launch planning, and competitive differentiation for each product line, ensuring pillar output meets CoE quality standards and is tightly aligned to the enterprise platform narrative.
  • Balance the distinct complexity of a hardware-heavy portfolio (Point of Care, Anesthesia) with a growing software and services GTM motion (Central Pharmacy Services, IV) - adapting buyer targeting, selling motion, and proof points accordingly.
  • Orchestrate the full bowtie GTM motion across the Hospital Solutions pillar - from pre-launch readiness and sales activation through adoption, expansion, and retention - ensuring commercial impact is measured across the entire customer lifecycle
  • Ensure pillar execution is aligned to CoE standards - launch framework, competitive intelligence methodology, and demo excellence - while advocating for pillar-specific needs in cross-vertical planning and resource conversations.

Sales & Field Enablement

  • Serve as the primary PMM interface with Hospital Sales leadership and Hospital-aligned Product Management - providing the positioning, messaging, competitive response, and enablement tools the field needs to compete and close.
  • Translate market intelligence, win/loss signals, and field feedback into actionable messaging refinements and competitive response programs.
  • Build and maintain core sales assets across the pillar - pitch decks, battle cards, objection handlers, ROI frameworks - aligned to the full Hospital buyer committee (pharmacy directors, VP Operations, CMO, CFO).
  • Partner with Sales on deals and strategic accounts that require direct PMM engagement or custom executive-level storytelling.

People Leadership

  • Manage and develop two sub-teams - Point of Care and Central Pharmacy - with direct and indirect reports across PMMs and supporting roles.
  • Set clear direction, priorities, and quality standards across all product lines in the pillar; hold the team accountable to output quality and GTM cadence.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain PMM talent; build a team culture that combines strategic craft with operational rigor.
  • Partner directly with the Sr. Director on pillar resource planning, talent development, and cross-pillar coordination.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Build strong working relationships with Hospital Solutions Product Management, Hospital Sales, Sales Enablement, Corporate Strategy, Marketing Operations, and the Platform/Portfolio/CoE to ensure GTM plans are grounded in product reality and commercial need.
  • Represent the Hospital Solutions pillar in cross-vertical planning, portfolio narrative development, and enterprise launch calendaring.
  • Provide market and competitive input into the product roadmap process, ensuring the pillar's field intelligence informs product prioritization.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Deep knowledge of the hospital pharmacy and medication management market — including automated dispensing, central pharmacy automation, anesthesia workflow, IV compounding, and related clinical workflows.
  • Proven ability to develop pillar- or portfolio-level positioning that connects a complex product set into a coherent story a health system executive can act on.
  • Track record driving GTM execution across both capital equipment and software/services products in a B2B enterprise selling environment.
  • Strong people leadership with experience managing matrixed, multi-product PMM teams and developing talent at multiple career stages.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels — comfortable setting direction one moment and editing a battle card the next.
  • Strong competitive intelligence instincts and experience turning win/loss signals into positioning and enablement that moves the field.
  • Influence and alignment skills to navigate senior stakeholders across product, sales, finance, and executive leadership in a matrixed organization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
  • 10+ years in product marketing or solutions marketing in B2B healthcare technology or adjacent complex enterprise environments.
  • 4+ years of people management, including direct management of product marketers in a multi-product or matrixed structure.
  • Demonstrated success owning GTM strategy and execution for a pillar, portfolio, or multi-product set in a healthcare technology company.
  • Proven track record building and enabling a field sales organization through positioning, messaging, and sales enablement assets that drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
  • Experience managing marketing across both hardware/capital equipment and software/SaaS product lines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Direct experience marketing pharmacy automation, medication management, or clinical workflow technology to health systems.
  • Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations, perioperative medication management, or IV/central pharmacy workflows.
  • Background managing or contributing to a PMM Center of Excellence, launch framework, or analogous marketing standards function.
  • Experience navigating health system procurement, value analysis committees, and multi-stakeholder hospital buying dynamics.
  • Exposure to Omnicell’s product portfolio or competitive landscape (BD Pyxis, Swisslog, Baxter/Welch Allyn, Kit Check).

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Remote.
  • Up to 25–30% travel for team meetings, customer engagements, field rides, and industry events.
