About the Role

Orchard is looking for a growth-minded Director of Product Management to help us unlock new and innovative ways to scale our business and deliver a seamless experience to consumers in our marketplace:  home buyers and sellers. In this role you will rely on customer conversations, data, qualitative insights, creative thinking, and experimentation to build products that convert customers through the funnel  and consistently exceed their expectations in their home sale journey. You will work closely with talented designers, engineers, sales people, marketers, real estate agents, and operations teams to build industry-defining products that deliver on Orchard’s mission - to provide the most stress-free, fair, and simple way to buy and sell a home. The ideal candidate has experience building impact-driving products in a growth stage company and is comfortable vibe coding product prototypes.


What You’ll Do Here:

  • Manage the product life cycle, from ideation, user research, and development to launch and ongoing product analytics
  • Own our Growth product roadmap aimed at testing new products to grow our customer base and lower our customer acquisition costs
  • Analyze the results of your tests, and leverage data and qualitative insights to decide what to prioritize next
  • Be accountable for ambitious growth KPIs and own a product roadmap that gets us there
  • Lead a dedicated scrum team and build a high velocity, results driven culture 
  • Continuously gather and analyze user feedback, competitive analysis, and industry trends to keep the team informed and inspired.  Drive research that will shape strategic product and company decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing, to bring new products to market

We’d Love to Hear From You if You Have:

  • 4+ years B2C experience in Product Management
  • A track record of challenging the status quo and proactively suggesting new ideas to tackle on your roadmap.
  • Experience independently conducting user interviews in order to solve the right problems
  • Strong analytical capabilities – experience defining metrics, measuring performance, and using data to inform decision-making
  • A track record of taking ownership of large, cross-functional projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-team collaboration: working effectively with engineers, designers, marketers, operational teams, and senior leadership to deliver high impact work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and can synthesize testing and learnings to share with stakeholders and executive leadership

The pay range for this position in Boston, MA is $180-230K/year. The actual base pay offered may vary within the range provided depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
