As Director of Platform Product Management, you will lead the team responsible for the platform’s foundational capabilities—including data integration, APIs, core services, authentication, and workflow orchestration.
This is a strategic leadership role focused on delivering a unified, modern platform that streamlines data operations and powers end-to-end performance management workflows. You’ll guide a team of product managers and work cross-functionally with engineering, UX, and go-to-market teams to deliver a cohesive developer and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Platform Strategy & Architecture: Own and deliver the roadmap for data integration, APIs, platform performance, and extensibility. Lead modernization efforts toward modular, cloud-ready architecture that meets enterprise scalability and security needs.
- Lead Embedded Workflow Innovation: Define and deliver workflow capabilities supporting budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting. Ensure robust orchestration of roles, tasks, approvals, and data flows—including validation, audit, cycle management, and compliance support—deeply embedded across the platform.
- Advance Data Integration Capabilities: Execute a unified strategy for API-centric and file-based ingestion, transformation, and reuse. Enable self-service access, governance, and integration with partner systems and BI tools via semantic and technical abstractions.
- Lead & Scale Product Team: Manage and mentor product managers across data, platform services, and workflow. Align cross-functional teams for predictable, high-impact execution and measurable outcomes.
- Champion Customer-Centric Delivery: Partner with customers, sales, and services to uncover pain points, influence product adoption, and represent Board in solution architecture discussions across the broader enterprise ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in product management, with a focus on platform, data infrastructure, or enterprise workflow roles
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and ship developer- or infrastructure-facing capabilities
- Strong grasp of cloud-native architectures, data pipelines, APIs, and authentication standards
- Ability to manage across technical depth, business impact, and user experience
- Strong background in data security, governance, and scalable integration design
- Experience with planning or financial software (e.g., Board, Anaplan, Pigment, Adaptive, Oracle EPM)
- Familiarity with iPaaS tools, metadata-driven design, or low-code/no-code transformation platforms
