The Director, Planning & Strategy serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, developing and executing communication strategies that advance business priorities, strengthen employee engagement, and drive organizational alignment. This role combines strategic planning, executive communications, stakeholder engagement, and change communications to influence outcomes and support organizational success.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute enterprise communication strategies that support business objectives, drive organizational alignment, and enhance the employee experience
  • Serve as a strategic communications advisor to senior leaders, translating business priorities into clear, compelling, and actionable messaging
  • Lead the planning and delivery of integrated communication campaigns and initiatives across multiple channels, audiences, and stakeholder groups
  • Create consistent and effective content and messaging
  • Create executive communication materials, including presentations, speeches, talking points, videos, leadership messages, and organizational updates
  • Partner across teams, functions and businesses to ensure coordinated, enterprise-wide messaging
  • Define success metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies, leveraging feedback, engagement data, and business outcomes to continuously improve results
  • Lead complex and high-visibility communications efforts, exercising sound judgment and influence in dynamic and evolving business environments

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years as a leader in operations leadership or communications
  • Experience delivering actionable recommendations to senior leaders in healthcare or operations environments
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to lead complex, high-impact initiatives across multiple departments or business units

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $134,600 - $230,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
