About the Role

As the Director of Marketing Operations, you'll be a strategic leader responsible for the operational engine of our marketing organization. You will define and implement the processes, technologies, and data strategies that enable the marketing team to execute campaigns efficiently, measure their impact accurately, and scale our efforts effectively. You'll lead a high-performing team and serve as the central hub for marketing project management, technology, and data governance.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Project Management
  • Define and Manage Marketing Operations Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing operations roadmap that supports the marketing organization's goals and aligns with broader business objectives.
  • Establish Project Management Best Practices: Institute a standardized project management framework for all major marketing events and projects, including templates, workflows, and communication protocols to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Mentor, manage, and grow a team of marketing operations professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.
Martech Stack & Data Management
  • Martech Stack Ownership: Own the entire marketing technology stack, from evaluation and selection to integration and administration. Ensure our tools are best-in-class, provide maximum value, and are integrated to create a seamless ecosystem.
  • Technology Roadmap: Create and maintain a centralized view of the martech stack and develop a technology roadmap that anticipates future needs and optimizes current investments.
  • Marketing Data Strategy: Design and implement a robust data strategy for the marketing organization. This includes overseeing data quality, unification, distribution, and governance for leads, contacts, and campaigns.
  • Privacy & Compliance: Ensure all marketing processes and technologies adhere to corporate, legal, and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Process Optimization & Enablement
  • Project Management: Work cross-functionally across Marketing to project Manager large scale projects. 
  • Marketing Efficiency: Create repeatable and scalable marketing processes that reduce costs and increase goal attainment. Provide training and enablement for the marketing team on tools and processes.
  • Process Accessibility: Easy accessibility and understanding of marketing processes for all team members.
  • End-to-End Lead Management: Take ownership of the complete lead-to-opportunity process, including lead scoring, segmentation, and process flows. Optimize this process to increase efficiency and conversion rates.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior marketing operations role, with a strong background in managing Martech stacks, lead management processes, and data governance.
  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and mentoring talent.
  • Technical Acumen: Deep expertise in Marketo and Salesforce
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into operational plans and technology roadmaps.

Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Salary Range 

USA: $122,000 to $158,790 plus bonus 

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
