This role can be located in one of the following corporate office locations: Las Vegas NV, Charlotte NC, Greenwood Village CO, Atlanta GA or St. Louis MO.

As a Labor Relations Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maintain an engaged and productive workforce. This includes working with leaders and frontline employees to ensure a positive employee working environment, educating management on labor related issues, and developing proactive measures to create a culture that can attract and retain great employees. WHAT OUR LABOR RELATIONS DIRECTORS ENJOY MOST
  • Developing relationships and working collaboratively with leaders and frontline employees throughout Spectrum's 45 state footprint.
  • Supporting the Senior Director, Labor Relations in defining and articulating the organization's strategies for proactive employee and labor relations
  • Providing consultative direction to ensure a company culture that allows the Company to attract and retain great employees
  • Developing and delivering preventative labor relations training
  • Developing strategies to resolve problematic employee situations and employee relations issues
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations relative to labor relations

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: Labor relations experience of 5+ years, must have experience managing organizing campaigns.
  • Management and/or HR experience 5+ years
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Technical skills: Deep knowledge of employee relations practices and labor law. Organizing campaign experience.
  • Skills: Demonstrated analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated team and relationship building skills. Proven leadership and mentoring skills. Strong training and presentation skills.
  • Abilities: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Can develop and implement action plans. Can effectively present information to management. Can make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure. Can show judgment and initiative and accomplish job duties. Can communicate effectively with all levels in the organization. Can think strategically and anticipate future trends, needs, and expectations
  • Travel Ability: Office environment with 50-75% travel required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Law degree or Masters in ER/LR
  • Knowledge of telecommunications industry is a plus
