Step into a role as the Director IT Sourcing where you will be responsible for supporting developing and executing IT sourcing and vendor management strategies, processes and tools. The ideal candidate will have a background in working directly with senior IT leaders to align IT sourcing and vendor management strategy and execution to business objectives.

This is a hybrid role in our Newton, MA office and requires 3x of onsite work weekly.

Responsibilities:

Depending on the line of business, the position may perform some or all of the below functions:

  • Manage full lifecycle of contracts for assigned programs, project and key suppliers 

  • Pro-actively manage contract and license renewals 

  • Build and foster collaborative working relationships with Department VPs, PMO and other key stakeholders within the IT organization 

  • Successfully lead negotiations for enterprise initiatives meeting the timelines, scope, and  requirements agreed upon with key stakeholders 

  • Assist in developing a category strategy which supports the overall technology strategy 

  • Socialization and facilitation of the Procurement policy and processes, ensuring that the project teams and stakeholders understand the policy and adhere to it accordingly 

  • Support improvement in processes, policy, systems, and reporting 

  • Timely and frequent submission of management information, including RFP/Contract Negotiation/Renewal status and savings reporting 

  • Facilitation of any needed market research to identify potential suppliers, ensure competitive pricing and terms, etc 

  • Development of sourcing strategy and execution, ensuring stakeholder engagement and driving performance management for key vendors 

  • Act as an individual contributor and trusted business advisor - managing multiple complex transactions directly or indirectly and working closely with senior IT leaders to deliver successful results 

  • Working closely with legal to minimize contractual risks to Bright Horizons while demonstrating year over year improvement in pricing 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required

  • 10 years of experience

Salary/Hourly Rate and Other Compensation Disclosures:

The annual starting salary for this position is $122,000 - $145,000. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

This position is also eligible for a bonus and RSUs.
