About This Role:

As the Director, Insights & Analytics –you will be a key player on the Biogen NA Decision Sciences team, reporting directly to the Head of Decision Sciences, North America. In this pivotal role, you will establish and execute integrated processes to amplify insights across all brands and functions, from Field and Digital to Patient Services. Your primary focus will be to operationalize the control tower remit, addressing business-critical questions aligned with strategic priorities and building success-driven processes. This position will allow you to shape the Alzheimer's cross-functional team, a top priority for Biogen North America, laying the groundwork for processes that can be scaled across other brand teams. Your insights will drive strategic decision-making, enhancing brand performance by leveraging analytical acumen and cross-functional insights. Collaborating with the Cross Brand team, you’ll manage insights to action processes and ensure market shifts are quickly addressed to support Therapeutic Area strategic goals.

What you'll Do:

  • Define and operationalize the control tower remit by structuring insights gathering and dissemination processes.
  • Design and implement systemic processes for gathering, structuring, and disseminating key insights.
  • Regularly assess and adjust processes to meet business needs and control tower objectives.
  • Connect key functional support areas to support brand strategies and goals.
  • Implement collaboration forums to foster cross-functional expertise and achieve aligned KPIs.
  • Coordinate dynamically between customer-facing and internal business support teams.
  • Ensure alignment on analytics initiatives and strategic goals with cross-functional teams.
  • Integrate market responses and insights to guide strategic decisions and actions.
  • Recommend resource re-deployment based on performance monitoring and continuous learning.
  • Partner with analytics teams to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Prepare and present findings to stakeholders, ensuring insights drive business strategies.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings to align on key discussion topics and market dynamics.

Who You Are:

You are an organized and strategic thinker who excels in fast-paced environments. Your strong analytical skills and understanding of pharmaceutical operations enable you to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You thrive on collaboration, using your ability to integrate insights and foster trust across teams. Your detail-oriented nature ensures that processes are both efficient and adaptable to the shifting dynamics of the market.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Business, Life Sciences). A master’s degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, insights, analytics, or a similar role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and the ability to enhance existing platforms for insights structuring.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for effective storytelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and deadlines in a rapidly evolving environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with regulatory and compliance considerations in the pharmaceutical industry.

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $195,000.00-$269,000.00


Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
