The Importance of the Role

The Director, Global Transparency & Compliance Operations is a pivotal member of the Global Compliance Operations leadership team, responsible for independently managing and advancing critical global compliance and transparency programs. Reporting to the Senior Director, Head of Global Compliance Operations, this role plays an essential part in strengthening the organization's compliance framework, mitigating risk, and enabling business objectives through effective compliance operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional professionalism, strategic thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to build trusted partnerships across a diverse range of functions and stakeholders.

The Opportunity to Make a Difference

  • Own Sarepta's global transparency reporting program, including governance, operational execution, disclosure submissions, publications, compliance certifications, reporting methodologies, and related program documentation across U.S. and international jurisdictions.
  • Lead the end-to-end collection, validation, analysis, and reporting of HCP spend data, partnering with Finance, third-party vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable disclosure requirements.
  • Serve as the business owner for transparency operations, overseeing vendor relationships, reporting calendars, shared mailboxes, inquiry management, training administration, program communications, and operational processes that support the global transparency program.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on global transparency requirements, monitoring evolving laws, regulations, and industry standards and translating requirements into operational processes, guidance, training, and business support.
  • Own transparency analytics and program oversight activities, leveraging data to identify trends, risks, control weaknesses, reporting anomalies, and opportunities for enhanced monitoring and informed decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement of Global Compliance Operations capabilities, advancing automation, data governance, reporting tools, operational controls, and scalable processes that increase efficiency and strengthen compliance oversight.
  • Partner with Global Compliance Operations leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives, operational change management activities, and program enhancements that strengthen the effectiveness and maturity of the global compliance program.

More about You

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree a plus but not required.
  • Certified in US Healthcare Compliance preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices industry with 8 years of direct compliance responsibilities.
  • Proven technical competencies and working knowledge of U.S. and global compliance laws
  • Strong planning and project management skills.
  • Strong computer software skills (Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio); ability to manage databases and generate meaningful tables and charts for executive presentations.
  • Team player with a high level of interpersonal skills and collaborative working style to effectively work cross functionally within the company.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

This position is hybrid, you will be expected to work on site at one of Sarepta’s facilities in the United States and/or attend Company-sponsored in-person events from time to time.

The targeted salary range for this position is $185,600 - $232,000 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges. The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta’s compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
