Position: Director, Global Supply Planning
Department: Supply Chain – Wellness (Honeywell, PUR, Braun, Vicks)
Work Location: Marlborough, MA, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)

What you will be doing:
This role is accountable for North American (and AP) supply planning execution and staff leadership. The position owns global inventory planning, on-time delivery, and vendor management for the U.S., Canada, and AP and LA RMOs, and is responsible for delivering and executing the inventory plan across these regions.
The role maintains a dotted-line relationship with the EU B&W Supply Planning organization and the broader Helen of Troy Global Supply Chain organization, led by the Corporate Chief Supply Chain Officer.
Lead and develop the North American supply planning team across multiple product categories, including humidifiers, air purifiers, thermometers, fans, heaters, PUR water filtration, blood pressure monitors, and related accessories and SKUs. Drive team capability and performance to align on-time delivery and inventory objectives with corporate goals.
Own global inventory planning, including development, execution, and results. Deliver inventory turn improvement while managing overall inventory investment in line with corporate objectives.
Manage inventory flow through Oracle firming and direct purchase order placement to optimize vendor capacity, improve on-time delivery, and support MOH and customer satisfaction.
Produce and maintain twelve-month rolling inventory projections monthly, aligned with demand and financial plans and reviewed with business unit and corporate leadership.
Establish, monitor, and maintain item planning parameters (time fences, MOQs, lead times, etc.) to support targeted service levels, inventory turns, and demand plans. Forward inventory commitments are managed on an exception basis.
Partner with RMOs, business units, and APO teams to manage global vendor capacity. Analyze capacity constraints and recommend vendor-level improvements (e.g., tooling, staffing, equipment, or process changes) to improve on-time delivery, including management of seasonal builds and external events such as Lunar New Year.
Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators related to on-time delivery, inventory health, and cost management. Approve purchase and firming orders with global vendors (approximately $500MM in annual spend).
Serve as a subject matter expert in Oracle ERP and BI tools, providing hands-on training and guidance to direct reports. Maintain strong working knowledge of SAP and Blue Yonder to drive effective purchasing execution and inventory management.
Deliver regular executive-level updates on supply chain performance, providing clear, data-driven insights on purchasing, inventory, and on-time delivery to inform decisions and optimize outcomes.
Proactively and creatively resolve complex global delivery challenges, including constraints related to capacity, labor, utilities, transportation, and regulatory issues, while ensuring on-time delivery and balancing RMO requirements.
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information across multiple audiences.
Proven ability to assess organizational capability and elevate functional skills through targeted training, process improvement, and system enhancements.
Strong analytical capabilities, particularly in the use of business intelligence tools to develop global inventory projections and analyze inventory segments including weeks of supply, inventory turns, and excess and obsolete exposure.
Demonstrated experience managing a global vendor base, particularly in China and Mexico, including sourcing and negotiation activities in fast-paced environments with frequent delivery challenges requiring fact-based, data-driven solutions.
Ability to build alignment, consensus, and confidence through disciplined planning and consistent execution.
High attention to detail combined with sound risk-based decision-making and a strong bias toward action to support customer requirements.
Strong sense of urgency and a technically oriented leadership style, leveraging systems and data to drive organizations toward key decision points using accurate, fact-based insights.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, or related discipline.
7+ years of progressive experience across E2E supply chain operations.
Advanced ERP expertise, including Oracle R12, with strong business intelligence development and usage experience and exposure to end-to-end advanced planning platforms.
Proven people leadership and talent development experience within a large, matrixed global supply chain organization.
Demonstrated success in inventory optimization and control strategies that reduce cost while improving service levels.
Ability to deliver results across both strategic and operational planning horizons.
Strong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Proven ability to collaborate, influence, and drive alignment across cultures and organizational levels.
Demonstrated success operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments while managing multiple priorities.
Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills, including proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
Active contributor to monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

In Massachusetts, the standard base pay range for this role is $103,000 - $152,000 annually. This base pay range is specific to Massachusetts and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance.
The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
