About the Role
Cloudflare is seeking an innovative, collaborative and technically-oriented leader to oversee and drive the company's Human Resource Operations and Technology organization. As the Company approaches $2 billion in annual revenue, the Director of Global Human Resource Operations and Technology will be joining at an exciting point of growth as Cloudflare plans to scale to $5 billion in revenue, and from 4,500 to 10,000 employees, in the next four years.

  • This is an exciting opportunity to own and oversee HR Operations, which requires strong partnerships and streamlined execution of strategic priorities across the broader People team
  • In this role, you will report to the Vice President, Total Rewards and Shared Services, and our lead global HR operations initiatives. You will partner closely with the People leadership team to develop and implement proactive solutions for a broad scope of activities, ensuring alignment on initiatives and priorities while developing and scaling a global HR operations team.
  • You will serve as a strategic partner in designing the end-to-end employee experience at scale, with a proven track record for using technology to innovate, creating a world class experience for candidates and employees through the entire life cycle of employment. You will identify ways to innovate and scale current processes to ensure Cloudflare is creating simple, quality experiences for employees and has the infrastructure for continued growth

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our global operating model for HR Operations, centralizing administration of employee lifecycle transactions, administration, and People programs
  • Partner with People Team leaders to update our HR Operations strategy and roadmap to help transform our People function and support broader business goals.
  • Design and lead enterprise-wide change management/communications to drive adoption of People team transformation initiatives
  • Work across the employee lifecycle to identify ways to innovate and scale current processes to optimize the employee experience for a growing and distributed workforce
  • Build relationships with key leaders and stakeholders across the organization to influence and align on transformation vision and plans
  • Lead the use of technology in the Cloudflare People team, including maximizing the use of existing systems including Workday (HRIS) and Greenhouse (ATS). This will require partnering with the Cloudflare IT, which is responsible for all internal systems, and Finance teams related to Payroll, to improve efficiency and effective system integration and use
  • Transform our employee support process with artificial intelligence-driven solutions and self service tools that empower our global workforce
  • Support expansion into new countries, ensuring compliance with local employment regulations
  • Establish HR performance metrics that drive quality and excellence
  • Lead a highly skilled team, fostering their professional growth and development while cultivating a collaborative and high-performance culture that leads with empathy and curiosity

Minimum Qualifications
  • Senior level experience leading global People Operations and Technology services with +12 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Experience with Workday (essential), and other HR systems such Greenhouse and ADP
  • Proven ability to lead complex initiatives with global and cross-functional executive stakeholders
  • Skills in leading cross-functional teams through change initiatives associated with HR transformation
  • Demonstrated experience in taking things from "scrappy" to "scaled" in a high growth, fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence senior leadership
  • Experience in evaluating, developing and implementing operational improvements through automation, AI, and process redesign to enable scalability and velocity
  • Advanced degree in Business, HR, Finance, Operations, or equivalent experience
