Director of Finance / Controller

WORK Inc. is seeking a dynamic Director of Finance/Controller to help lead a mission‑driven organization that is transforming lives across Massachusetts. Reporting to the CFO, this leader will guide the company’s financial operations with a blend of strategic insight and hands‑on technical expertise. You’ll manage a talented accounting team, oversee budgeting and forecasting, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and champion process improvements that strengthen our financial foundation.
We’re looking for someone who brings strong leadership, deep GAAP and systems expertise, and a passion for using financial excellence to fuel organizational impact and long‑term growth.

What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
- 5+ years of experience successfully managing or supervising staff with the drive and willingness to help others identify and resolve issues.
- Demonstrated success in managing a broad set of accounting and finance functions
- Proven ability to prioritize and delegate effectively while maintaining accuracy and focus in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in NetSuite, Limelight and PayCom a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
WORK Inc. offers one of the most comprehensive benefit packages in the industry including bonus opportunities designed to support you and your future.
Expected salary range: $110,000–$125,000, commensurate with experience.
This is a full‑time, on‑premises position based in Dorchester, MA. Hybrid or remote work arrangements are not available at this time.
