Director, Digital Payments Product Lead
Overview
We are looking for a Digital Payments Product Leader to drive the adoption and evolution of Mastercard's Digital Solutions portfolio in France.
This role sits at the intersection of Product Management, Market Strategy and Customer Engagement.
The successful candidate will act as the France market expert for Click to Pay, Tokenization, Digital Wallets and Payment Credentials, influencing product strategy, supporting customer implementations and shaping Mastercard's digital payments roadmap
Role
In this client-facing leadership position, you will:
• Partner with Account Managers to identify customer needs and market gaps to influence Mastercard's Digital Solutions roadmap in France by positioning Mastercard Digital Solutions effectively with clients and prospects
• Lead product discovery, solution design and strategic product engagements with issuing banks and fintechs.
• Support Account managers, Service & Marketing teams on the whole sales cycles, from opportunity identification through to deal closure, legal negotiation and commercialization
• Act as the owner Digital Solutions such as Click to Pay, SCOF, Wallets and other Tokenization initiatives for issuers and acquirers in France, ensuring alignment with the Acceptance strategy
• Coordinate with European Product team to ensure priorization of market requests and education of the French market on the Mastercard Digital roadmap
• Serve as the France market owner for Click to Pay, Tokenization, Wallets and Agentic initiatives.
• Monitor competitors, fintech innovation trends and regulatory developments impacting digital payments.
• Work with customers to design scalable deployment models and adoption strategies.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of product & sales leadership, payments expertise, and strategic thinking:
• Demonstrated success in managing and influencing senior client relationships (C-level)
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience structuring complex deals and partnerships
• Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capability
Experience and Other Requirements
• Strong Client facing experience
• Deep understanding of payment ecosystems, including issuers, acquirers• High level of autonomy, proactivity, and a strong results-driven mindset
• Fluency in French and English (additional European languages are a plus)
• Master's degree (Engineering, Business School, or MBA preferred)
