Perficient's AI-First Marketing & Engagement practice builds and runs the digital experiences global enterprises depend on. Our capabilities span strategy through delivery: experience and content strategy; digital experience platforms and commerce; data, analytics and personalization; agentic marketing operations; and the engineering that makes all of it run at scale. We are an Adobe Platinum partner, recognized as Adobe's Emerging DX Partner of the Year and a Major Player in the IDC MarketScape, with 7,000+ people across 25 offices and delivery in more than 50 countries. AI is built into how we deliver rather than added on top of it, and the productivity that creates is reflected in what our clients pay.

We are looking for a seasoned, strategic Program & Delivery Lead to own the overall success of large, global Adobe experience platform programs — the client relationship, the financials, delivery, resourcing and program health. You will lead multi-year, multi-team programs for enterprise clients in regulated industries, where validation requirements, in-country regulation and immovable dates are constraints you plan around rather than discover. Ideal candidates will have a consulting background and deep Adobe delivery experience, including Edge Delivery Services in production.

REQUIREMENTS:

This is a program leadership seat that runs delivery. Discipline leads own requirements, architecture, experience, content and data; you own whether their work converges on the date, and you are technically credible enough to challenge them rather than relay them. If your strongest contribution is an accurate status report, this role will underuse you.

The work

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of complex, global experience platform programs, from mobilization and planning through build, release and ongoing support
  • Own program health — scope, schedule, budget, margin, quality and risk — and report on it candidly to client and internal leadership
  • Serve as the senior delivery counterpart to client program leadership and executives, building the relationship that surfaces problems early and creates follow-on work
  • Build and maintain the delivery plan and capacity model across on-shore, near-shore and off-shore teams, adjusting resourcing as the program evolves
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams and the discipline leads who run them, holding independent workstreams to a single committed date
  • Establish the governance a program of this size runs on: intake, decision rights, sign-off, change control, escalation and reporting
  • Manage risk and dependency actively — including dependencies owned outside your team — and re-sequence the plan when they move rather than renegotiating the commitment
  • Plan regulatory validation, security review and audit traceability into the schedule as work with owners and durations, not as a gate at the end
  • Ensure global and in-country requirements, including mainland China, are designed into the program from the first release
  • Apply AI across delivery within the client's compliance constraints, and reflect the productivity it creates in the plan and the price
  • Coach and grow the delivery team, and contribute to the practice's methodology, estimation models and accelerators

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

Here's what you'll need

  • Minimum 12+ years leading delivery of large-scale digital experience platform programs, including several where you owned the outcome and not only the schedule
  • Deep Adobe delivery experience, including AEM Cloud Service in production and working fluency across Adobe Target, Launch, Real-Time CDP, Customer Journey Analytics, Workfront and Assets
  • Demonstrated Edge Delivery Services delivery experience in production, including a working understanding of where EDS constrains an enterprise build
  • Global program delivery experience including mainland China, with working knowledge of in-country delivery, data residency and consent requirements
  • Delivery experience in regulated industries — life sciences, medical device, financial services or equivalent — where validation and audit traceability shaped the schedule
  • Experience running on-shore, near-shore and off-shore teams as a single delivery organization across time zones
  • Consulting background, comfortable owning the client relationship and the commercial picture alongside delivery
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and the discipline to catch the specification gap, the dependency and the moved date before they become a milestone

BONUS POINTS IF:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with document-based authoring at enterprise scale (DA.live or comparable)
  • Experience with enterprise search and product discovery platforms (Coveo or comparable)
  • Experience with GxP validation cycles including OQ, PQ and IVP across multiple environments
  • Familiarity with China regulatory workstreams including ICP licensing, PIPL data residency, cross-border transfer consent and MLPS filing
  • Experience with large-scale content migration where true content volume was unknown at the point of commitment
  • Experience with CI/CD and feature-flag release control on enterprise web platforms
  • Strong understanding of PII security and data privacy requirements across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience delivering for life sciences, medical device or advanced manufacturing clients

So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
