- Build and scale accounting processes, systems, and controls to support the Company’s evolution as a newly public biotech company, including optimization of NetSuite and related close/reporting tools to enhance automation, reporting capabilities, workflow efficiency, and data integrity.
- Champion the evaluation and adoption of technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that enhance the effectiveness, scalability, and efficiency of accounting processes, internal controls, financial reporting support, and close activities, while maintaining appropriate governance, accuracy, and compliance standards.
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Clinical Operations, R&D, Procurement, and Legal to ensure accurate accounting for clinical trial expenses and other key operational activities, including leading the Phase 3 clinical trial accrual process and related financial analyses.
- Support SEC reporting and public company compliance requirements in collaboration with the technical accounting and SEC reporting teams, including the design and implementation of ICFR and SOX-compliant processes and documentation.
