Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Commercial Finance to lead our revenue accounting, planning, analysis, and decision support for our branded commercial operations and market access teams. This role will serve as a key business partner to the commercial leadership team, providing financial insights that drive revenue growth, optimize profitability, and support strategic initiatives across our branded pharmaceutical portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee FDA approved drug revenue accounting, including detailed gross-to-net (GTN) analysis, accruals, and true-up processes and ensure accurate GTN revenue recognition and compliance with ASC 606.
  • Primary point of contact and responsible for all government price reporting of the products.
  • Track and analyze GTN components such as rebates, chargebacks, copay programs, distribution fees, and returns.
  • Monitor GTN trends and assumptions and provide recommendations to optimize net revenue performance.
  • Partner with Harrow Eye, LLC Sales, Marketing, and Market Access teams to evaluate commercial strategies, pricing models, and promotional investments.
  • In collaboration with FP&A team, develop and maintain financial models to assess product performance, ROI, and market opportunities.
  • Provide strategic support for product launches, lifecycle management, and business development initiatives.
  • Deliver actionable insights through dashboards, KPIs, and ad hoc analysis to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Support the development and refinement of GTN forecasting tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Supply Chain, and Regulatory to align financial goals with operational execution.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a commercial finance leadership role within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical pricing, gross-to-net, market access, and product launch dynamics.
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
