The Director, Business Operations and Process Excellence role is a strategic position that manages operational and administrative aspects of GRA MPD, Labeling and Advertising & Promotion (A&P) while also acting as a key advisor to the Head of GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P. This role involves a blend of operational, strategic, and administrative responsibilities, ensuring this team runs efficiently and effectively while aligning with the overall business objectives. The role also includes oversight of vendor management the sub-function as well as project management oversight.

$174,500.00 - $274,230.00

How you will contribute:
- Partner with the Head of GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P to develop and implement the GRA sub-function's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with GRA overall goals.
- Support the Head of GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P in the execution of the vision, ensuring organization-wide alignment with objectives.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P sub-function, including budgeting, technology, and process improvement initiatives.
- Drive strong alignment and collaboration within the GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P and across other functions.
- Orchestrate key leadership touchpoints, including department meetings.
- Manage the GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P's budget, track expenses, and analyze financial reports, including outsourcing vendors, to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Serve as the central liaison for the Head of GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P, facilitating communication with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Support key initiatives for GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across different departments to understand their needs and ensure the GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P team is providing effective support.
- Assist in managing communications for the GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P sub-function, including internal and external communications, which requires Head of GRA MPD, Labeling and A&P's final review and approval.
- Assist in managing outsourcing vendors in partnership with key stakeholders in GRA MPD, Labeling, and A&P to meet current and future business goals.
- Foster strong internal communications by socializing key initiatives and communicating progress.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, scientific discipline.
- Advanced degree in a scientific discipline (PharmD/PhD/MD) strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including 3+ years regulatory and/or related experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication; and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities; ability to think strategically, identify problems, and develop creative solutions, including risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong financial acumen: ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and analyze financial reports.
- Experience with management of regulatory vendors.
- Experience with project management of regulatory initiatives. Ability to manage and adhere to timelines.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Must work well with others and within global and regional teams.
