THE MISSION
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Business Development to lead our efforts in building and nurturing relationships with game developers, encouraging them to launch their games on the Open Loot platform. The ideal candidate will possess an extensive network within the gaming industry and a proven track record of driving business growth through strategic partnerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, engage, and establish strong relationships with game developers to promote the adoption of the Open Loot platform.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, developer needs, and competitive landscapes, informing strategic decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and successful integration of developer partnerships.
- Negotiation and Deal Closure: Lead negotiations and manage the end-to-end process of securing partnerships, from initial contact through contract execution.
- Networking: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and forums to expand Open Loot's presence and influence within the gaming community
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in business development roles within the gaming industry.
- Network: Demonstrated extensive network of contacts among game developers and industry stakeholders.
- Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with partners.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the gaming ecosystem, monetization strategies, and developer needs. Additionally, 1-2 years of experience in the cryptocurrency industry is preferred.
