Description

Founded in 2016, Lusha grew from a bootstrapped startup to a $1.5B unicorn, backed by $245M in investments and trusted by sales teams at Google, Zendesk, and Yotpo.

Lusha is changing the B2B sales experience with a new approach called Sales Streaming. It allows salespeople to search for any lead in the world, then our AI finds them better ones, keeps them streaming and does outreach for them. This means they can now spend most of their time actually selling.

With 1.5M+ users, 200M+ contacts, and 40K new signups every month, we’re the engine behind modern GTM teams. And we’re just getting started.

Where does this role fit in our vision?

We’re seeking a highly motivated Director of Analytics with a strong business orientation and deep analytics expertise to elevate our data-driven culture. You’ll lead a growing group of analysts, partner with cross-functional teams, and build innovative solutions that power Lusha’s product-led growth strategy and customer experience.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a group of talented analysts—ensuring professional growth, quality deliverables, and a culture of curiosity.
  • Define and execute analytics strategies to support PLG motions, drive product adoption, customer retention, and overall business performance.
  • Champion the integration of AI-powered analytics tools, transforming how we generate insights and scale impact across teams.
  • Collaborate with Product, Growth, Marketing, and Customer Success to uncover data-driven opportunities and influence key decisions.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to ensure reliable, scalable infrastructure and tooling for advanced reporting and analytics.
  • Conduct deep product analytics—analyzing user journeys, growth funnels, and cohort behavior to drive actionable insights.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate experiments (A/B tests) to optimize onboarding, activation, monetization, and retention.

Requirements
  • 9+ years of experience in analytics or data science roles, including 3+ years in a managerial position within B2B SaaS companies
  • Experience in PLG (Product-Led Growth) environments – strong advantage
  • Proven track record in scaling and mentoring high-performing analytics teams, including managers
  • Deep understanding of core SaaS metrics, including:
  • ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, retention, churn, and growth loops
  • High proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or similar
  • Hands-on experience with Amplitude, Mixpanel, and optionally Python or R
  • Strong product-first mindset – experienced in working closely with product teams to analyze and optimize user flows
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights
  • Excellent project management skills – comfortable handling multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience
  • AI-savvy: comfortable working with AI tools and staying ahead of emerging trends

We’re dreamers, innovators, and learners, driven by simplicity, collaboration, and trust.

At Lusha, your work matters. Your voice is heard. And your growth is part of our growth.

Ready to join us? Let’s build the future of sales, together.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
