Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Director – Analytics Platform to lead the strategy, architecture, implementation, and evolution of enterprise analytics platforms. The role requires a strong combination of analytics technology expertise, platform strategy, technical leadership, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the analytics platform strategy, roadmap, architecture, and capabilities aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable enterprise data and analytics platforms.
- Drive integration of data across digital, customer, marketing, and enterprise systems to enable actionable insights.
- Establish standards for data architecture, governance, security, quality, performance, and scalability.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, and business teams to define analytics requirements and solutions.
- Lead implementation and optimization of digital analytics, customer analytics, reporting, and visualization capabilities.
- Evaluate and recommend analytics technologies, platforms, and architectural approaches.
- Drive adoption of cloud-based analytics and modern data architecture practices.
- Manage platform performance, reliability, technical risks, dependencies, and continuous improvements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects, engineers, analysts, and platform teams.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and client stakeholders to communicate platform strategy, recommendations, and business outcomes.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of experience in Data, Analytics, Digital Analytics, or Analytics Platform Engineering, with experience in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in enterprise analytics platform architecture and strategy.
- Experience with modern cloud data and analytics platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of data integration, data modeling, APIs, ETL/ELT, and modern data architectures.
- Experience with digital/customer analytics platforms and enterprise reporting solutions.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, privacy, quality, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of analytics visualization and BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Experience leading large-scale analytics or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
