A career at Roblox means you’ll be working to shape the future of human interaction, solving unique technical challenges at scale, and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone.
We’re looking for a dynamic, experienced sales leader to launch and scale Roblox’s video revenue business with a focus on agency partnerships and programmatic sales. As the Director, Agency Partnerships, you will play a critical role in building new revenue streams around one of our key growth areas: video advertising. This is a unique opportunity to shape a go-to-market strategy from the ground up, while leveraging your deep agency relationships and industry expertise to drive real business results.
You bring a strong track record of carrying your own book of business, supporting team revenue growth, leadership, and strategic creativity. You’re just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves in start-up mode as you are navigating complex agency relationships and large scale partnership deals. In this high-impact, client-facing role, you’ll serve as both a sales leader and a product evangelist - working cross functionally with vertical sales teams, product teams and external partners.
This full time position is based in New York and will report to the Head of Immersive Media Solutions.
You will:
- Build and lead Roblox’s agency development and sales, with a focus on video sales.
- Drive co-selling initiatives with strategic and programmatic partners.
- Leverage your agency and holding company relationship to open doors, generate leads, and accelerate revenue growth.
- Run strategic workstreams, learning agendas and other creative GTM approaches to open up opportunities at agencies.
- Focus on media agencies but be able to stretch into conversations with creative and strategy agencies as new products arise.
- Drive co-selling initiatives with third party strategic and programmatic partners.
- Act as a key voice of the market-gathering agency feedback to inform product development and go-to-market priorities.
- Partnership with leadership on sales narrative, positioning, and scaled GTM strategy.
- Own and exceed both individual and team-based revenue goals across key account and strategic partnerships.
- Educate, onboard, and evangelize Roblox’s video and brand safety capabilities with agency teams and vendor managers.
You Have:
- 12+ years of sales expertise with at least 8 years focused on video and programmatic video sales - rewarded video or gaming video a strong plus.
- Deep relationships and experience within major advertising/media holding companies at the leadership and client team level.
- Proven success in zero-to-one sales efforts, including launching new products or teams across multiple categories.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising ecosystems- including programmatic buying, mobile apps, social, and brand content.
- A track record of creative deal-making, client management, and delivering on aggressive revenue targets.
- Strong communication and influencing skills; able to drive cross-functional collaboration and build executive level trust.
- Experience in both start-up environments and mature ad business - comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
