Retail Media is expected to capture 1 in 4 ad dollars representing the fastest growing segment of media where 84% of retail media is expected to come from net-new revenue sources. National Media Agencies and Consulting Firms are important funding sources that support advertising and digital retail initiatives. There is a convergence of Shopper and National efforts to drive maximum ROI for a brand and Agency Holding Companies is becoming more influential to amplify and support CPG initiatives with the power of 1st party data allowing brands to reach audiences in a cookie less future.
A key aspect of this role is to properly identify key stakeholders across the Agency Holding Companies who are responsible for establishing and allocating ad budgets across Top 25-40 CPG companies. Effectively socializing /evangelizing the importance ADUSA plays to a CPG's overall brand success being a Top 5 Retail Media Network is a key aspect of this role. This role ultimately navigates the complex business planning approach that helps develop a singular view of the customer aligning investments to support the retailer and brand strategies.
This role will build advocacy for ADRM capabilities and design MSA agreements with agency benefits, unique opportunities that entice higher spend commitments based on the value and insights we are providing in key areas of focus. This role is responsible for being a liaison to leadership across ADRM Monetization educating on requirements necessary to fully capture investment dollars as well as partner and understand the Agency Processes and technicalities to be considered for investment. Assist in the thought leadership that builds out product solutions that meet the needs of agency through potential Test and Learn Beta executions that can be more broadly adopted to generate revenue.
The Director of Agency Partnerships is required to conduct market meetings with the C-Suite and Digital Investment leads at both Corporate and Agency levels responsible for funding that fully blends the brands budget for a true omnichannel activation and educating on why ADRM needs to be considered across key stakeholders. This role requires travel to industry Conferences and Events where key stakeholders are present showcasing the value of ADRM.
A key function is to build out agency mapping across Agency Holding Companies: WPP, Publicis, OMG, dentsu, Havas and IPG. In addition to Holding Companies, there are additional marketing companies that have increased influence such as Deloitte Digital & Accenture that influence a CPG investment and also falls within this roles responsibilities.
This role will work in collaboration with the ADRM Sales Team to further their efforts to increase annual media investments at the agency level that supports the CPG's omnichannel business and brand-building strategies at the Shopper Marketing and eCommerce channels. This role in partnership with sales team works closely together to maximize ROI and brand spend without creating market confusion and is viewed as a strategic approach as trusted advisors for mutual growth. This role will partner with the Marketing Team to effectively design materials required to support being a Top 5 RMN inclusive of industry research and supporting data points.
