  • Champion Best Practices: Implement scalable processes and tools to nurture the pipeline, track and report progress, and accurately forecast revenue. Your expertise in sales methodology frameworks like MEDDPICC will be crucial.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience managing an Enterprise sales team with 4-7 Account Executives. Proven track record selling sophisticated and innovative solutions to C-level and other key decision-makers.
  • Strong Domain Knowledge: Deep domain experience and understanding of the customer service and support market, with the ability to provide authentic and credible insights into evolving industry trends.
  • A Consultative and Collaborative Mindset: Applies a consultative approach and excels at setting and surpassing customer expectations. A team player with a collaborative personal style.
  • Attitude & Agility: A self-directed, resilient individual who thrives in an early-stage, fast-paced sales environment and is adaptable to changing market conditions and customer requirements. Possesses a passion for leading teams and inspiring them to hit and exceed sales targets.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A willingness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced team fueled by underdog grit and a shared passion for excellence.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
