As part of our commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience, we are seeking a Director of Account Management to join our dynamic Insurance Operations team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth of our agency partnerships, strengthening our carrier relationships, and driving strategies that expand our market presence.

JOB SUMMARY:  
 
The Director of Account Management will oversee Pivot Health’s Account Management function, ensuring that top agency accounts receive exceptional support and are consistently optimized for growth opportunities. This role requires a strategic leader who can hold the Account Management Team Lead and Account Managers accountable to established KPIs, drive alignment across internal departments, and strengthen relationships with both agency partners and carrier partners. The Director will play a key role in increasing market share by identifying sales trends, uncovering new opportunities, and supporting differentiation in a competitive marketplace.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Serve as the primary point of oversight for Pivot Health’s top agency accounts, ensuring consistent communication, support, and growth strategies. 
Lead, mentor, and hold the Account Management Team Lead and Account Managers accountable to performance KPIs tied to both compensation and account management best practices.
Partner with other departments within Pivot Health and Healthcare.com to ensure cross-functional alignment on account growth strategies and client needs.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with carrier partners, providing market insights, sales trend data, and opportunities for competitive differentiation.
Regularly review account performance, identify opportunities for expansion, and communicate strategic recommendations to leadership.
Develop, implement, and monitor agency and agent bonus programs designed to drive sales growth and align with Pivot Health’s overall business objectives.
Monitor market and industry trends to proactively recommend adjustments to account management strategies.
Represent the Account Management function in internal strategy meetings, ensuring the voice of the customer and agency partners is incorporated into business decisions.
Ensure Account Management team members have the tools, resources, and training necessary to be successful in their roles.


QUALIFICATIONS: 
 
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong track record of managing and growing key accounts, preferably in the health insurance or financial services industry.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage KPIs, and drive accountability to achieve results.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders, agency partners, and carrier partners.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable strategies.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment.
