About The Role
In this role, you will have an opportunity to join the Chainlink Developer Relations Engineering team. You'll be creating and maintaining a suite of developer tools, code artefacts, sample and demo applications, and guides crafted for enhancing the developer experience of a dynamic and growing community of developers. Through engineering craftmanship, highly technical written and spoken content, you will drive and deliver successful engineering outcomes for thousands of developers who build on Chainlik. You will also drive growth of not just your personal brand, but also the Chainlink brand as an unrivaled developer platform for blockchain engineering. In addition to building developer tools and software, your role will include elements of developer education, and evangelism. This role is best suited to you if you want to retain growth as an engineer while building your communication, cross-functional collaboration, and product development skills.
Your Impact

Build and maintain software tools that wows other engineers and significantly enhances their developer experience

build compelling demos and use cases for product launches, product upgrades and partnerships, that showcase the power of Chainlink

Represent Chainlink at global developer conferences, events, hackathon, etc and design and build technical workshops to support BUILD or SCALE partners, fostering community growth and awareness

Continuously provide input and developer feedback to Chainlink's Product Management and Engineering teams, helping shape product development based on community needs, market-leading developer experience, usability and adoption trends

publish technical content (blog posts, videos, technical deep-dives, case studies, etcs) that will get developers excited about the potential of Chainlink as a developer tool

Take the lead in Chainlink's developer events, making them best-in-class and tailored to developers' interests
Requirements
-
Strong engineering skills, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the software industry, working as a software engineer, DevRel engineer,, , or technical solution architect. Bonus points if you have built devtools, SDKs etc

Production coding experience, ideally full stack with TypeScript (TS). Experience with Solidity is highly regarded, and bonus points if you have built programs on Solana.

Passionate about better developer experience and loves building in public, engineering, problem solving and product development

Exceptional team and cross-functional collaboration skills social and networking skills; and the confidence to work autonomously but collaboratively

A genuine passion for the blockchain space and a belief in its potential to change the world for the better
Preferred Requirements

Experience in or passion for Product Design, User Experience (UX), and Developer Experience (DX)

Experienced or comfortable with public speaking, with a high comfort level around coding in front of a live audience

Strong technical writing skills; ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and concepts. Strong drive to educate, explain, teach and help other developers improve.

An active social media presence, especially on Twitter, demonstrating your engagement with the developer community. A desire to engage with and meet people in various developer communities

A deep passion for inspiring and educating fellow developers about the possibilities of blockchain technology

Flexibility and willingness to work in a dynamic startup environment

Ability and willingness to travel occasionally and work irregular hours if required
