At Verkada, we're known to push traditional boundaries with a first principles mindset, and our B2B demand generation efforts are no exception. As a Demand Gen Hub Manager in charge of scaling demand for our in-person field marketing motions, you'll be joining a highly selective marketing team of creatively hacky thinkers who are trying to battle efficiency goals as we continue to scale our motions. 

With a focus on data-driven decision-making, the Demand Gen Hub Manager will plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across all Digital and Outbound channels to drive demand to our in-person programs run by the Field Marketing team as well as ensure strong post-event follow-up. We hope to scale our field marketing events motion from under 100 to over 500 events this year! 

Please note that this role is on-site at HQ in San Mateo, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute digital marketing campaigns that drive the right decision makers to our field marketing events using any platform that meets the minimum ROI (e.g. Linkedin, Meta/Instagram, content syndication, email, and new channels)
  • Execute tailored outbound ABM campaigns with Marketing Development Reps (MDRs) using tactics such as Direct Mail, Linkedin InMails and Cold-Calling to personalize and get top decision makers to attend high-value field marketing events. 
  • Ensure follow-up actions are effectively executed in collaboration with the sales team to convert the strong attendance at field marketing events into a robust deal pipeline.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and optimize strategies for maximum ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with overall business goals. 
  • Create regional digital ad and marketing assets to support field marketing initiatives.
  • Drive innovation and experimentation in campaign tactics to stay ahead of industry trends and leverage new growth opportunities. 
  • Report on campaign performance and strategic insights to senior management, providing actionable recommendations for future initiatives. 

Qualifications

  • 4-year undergraduate degree (quantitative field of study strongly preferred)
  • 3-7 years of work experience, with a proven track record of successful customer acquisition strategies. 
  • Strong quantitative background with experience using data and metrics to inform marketing decisions - proficiency in analytics tools preferred (e.g. SQL)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with high attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Experience in Figma, Indesign or another design tool preferred  
  • Experience with digital marketing automation and CRM tools preferred (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce, and Outreach).

Annual Pay Range

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)

Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
