Structure and model commercial proposals, discounts, and pricing exceptions using data-driven recommendations.
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all internal sales policies, pricing guidelines, and approval workflows.
Review deals for adherence to US GAAP/IFRS revenue recognition principles and internal booking policies to ensure audit readiness.
Identify and execute continuous process improvements to streamline non-standard deal approvals and reduce cycle times.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Legal to maintain compliance and increase sales efficiency.
What You Bring:
3-5 years of experience in a Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Finance, or Pricing role, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
Strong understanding of software revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 or equivalent).
Great communication and collaboration skills to act as a strategic partner to the Sales organization.
Curiosity, initiative, and a bias for action in identifying process improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
It’d Be Awesome If You Also…
Have advanced proficiency in Salesforce.com and deep hands-on experience with CPQ systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Zuora, Apttus).
Possess expert-level Microsoft Excel skills for modeling and analysis.
Love solving complex problems with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
Bring fresh ideas and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo regarding process optimization.
