Why this role?Are you a law student looking to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced, global technology leader? Snyk is looking for smart, enthusiastic interns and externs to join our Legal Early Talent Program. This is a unique opportunity to develop business acumen and legal expertise at the intersection of cybersecurity and AI innovation. Whether you join us for an 11-week internship or a 14-week externship, you will work on cutting-edge projects that impact how modern organizations secure their software at scale.
What You’ll Do:Lead and support special projects for the legal department across diverse areas including IP, Regulatory Matters, and Corporate Governance.
Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare memos or correspondence to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate cross-functionally to review, draft, and analyze contracts that drive our business forward.
Influence how we manage legal risk in areas such as Marketing, Product, Employment Law, and Compliance.
Use your analytical skills to assist with complex matters like M&A and litigation support.
Current enrollment as a law student in good standing with a strong academic foundation.
Excellent writing, reasoning, and analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
A bias for action and the initiative to see solutions through to the end despite challenges.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
Ability to work 24–40 hours per week (program dependent) on a hybrid basis from our downtown Boston office.
Have taken coursework in commercial transactions, contracts, or intellectual property.
Bring a prior interest in—or experience with—technology, software, or cybersecurity.
Have a sense of humor—we take our mission seriously, but not ourselves!.
Are a great team player who thrives in collaborative, forward-thinking environments.
