Job Description
This is a highly visible global compensation role responsible for analytical, technical and general professional level support within the compensation function. We are looking for an energetic team player with high attention to detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. As a Sr. Compensation Analyst reporting to the Sr. Manager, Compensation, you will be responsible for conducting competitive market analyses, project management of quarterly salary planning, participate and oversee participation in salary surveys and management of the market pricing database.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with Recruiting, HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to deliver competitive and equitable compensation packages.
- Assist in the creation of resources and tools to improve understanding of competitive labor market and industry trends.
- Lead project management of the quarterly salary planning process and other compensation planning cycles
- Responsible for assisting in the administration of all company compensation programs.
- Document and maintain Compensation team process and procedures
- Oversight and administration of our market pricing databases (Payfactors).
- Participate in annual and ad hoc salary surveys and ensure data is accurately captured in Payfactors.
- Prepare statistical data and reports concerning compensation activities, programs or results.
- Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual reports are developed in an effective and timely manner; Assess report findings and make recommendations to management as needed.
- Evaluate and analyze salary data and competitive market pay. Create market composites and provide Recruiters, Management and HR Business Partners with competitive pay data and recommendations.
- Assist with administration and analyses of annual equity program.
- Produce ad hoc and standard compensation reports.
- Provide data auditing and support data integrity processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity in HR systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in compensation or combined compensation/financial analysis background.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience managing salary/compensation programs in a global company.
- Ability to analyze and recommend solutions based on available data.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain, influence, listen, instruct, give clear feedback, and ask good questions.
- Must have an outstanding attention to detail, analytical thinking, organized and capable of prioritizing work in a fast-moving environment.
- Innovative thinking and problem solver.
- Strong team player that has a customer service approach and is solution oriented.
- Experience with compensation design and execution globally and in emerging geographical markets is a significant plus.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to effectively interact with multiple working styles as well as work across all levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as ability to create and deliver high quality finished work product.
- Must have demonstrated proficiency in Excel and experience with HRIS, market pricing or compensation planning applications.
