Senior Associate Business Analyst

Overview of Team/Function:
The Structure Reporting team has an opening for a Senior Associate Business Analyst. As a Senior Associate Business Analyst, you will manage the reporting of organizational structural changes by financial institutions in New England. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will research, track, document, and inform key stakeholders of transactions related to Bank Holding Company, Savings and Loan Holding Company, and Depository Institution structural changes. The Federal Reserve examiners, other analysts throughout the Reserve Bank, the Board of Governors, other regulators, and the public, will use the information you collect and disseminate. You will be best suited if you have a passion for proactively looking for information and to working collaboratively to accurately document and share information to a diverse set of individuals and groups.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Work with partners within the Federal Reserve to collect, track, and report on institution organizational structure changes.
- Work individually and collaboratively to meet quality and timeliness standards of structure data.
- Identify new trends and issues with reported data and their consistency with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Harness several tools to query data from the many sources at our disposal to meet regular and ad hoc analysis requirements.
- Work with local and national business line colleagues on regulatory reporting and other projects.
- Advance and support diversity and inclusion efforts, and encourage diverse perspectives, and approaches.
Desirable Knowledge and Skills:
- Capability to summarize multiple sources of information concerning data collections and relationships of varying sizes and degrees of complexity under appropriate oversight to produce well-supported and compelling analyses and inquiries.
- Capability to recognize, identify, and document data anomalies, trends, and cause-effect relationships to ensure compliance with business policies and regulations.
- Proficiency in query writing using basic querying tools is preferable although not required.
Education and Experience:
- Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion of a Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of job related experience.
