Senior Analyst, Data Integrity Analytics

CarGurus, the world’s largest car search platform, is looking for an Senior Analyst to join our Data Integrity team. Data and content integrity are critical to the growth of CarGurus expanding global business. This role will be integral in ensuring the consistency of the data and content on the CarGurus platform. You will work closely within content and across the organization to help implement best practices and optimize efficiency for the team.
What You’ll Do:
- Curate our growing dataset of vehicle makes/models/trims to ensure proper listing generation and accuracy across the website
- Assist with QA-ing vehicle data in emerging international markets
- Support the Data Integrity team and other stakeholders across the company with rapid response and ad hoc analysis
- Analyze potential fraudulent behavior and develop detection and prevention reporting
- Create business intelligence dashboards and data visualization for stakeholders
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis to assist with team workflow and tracking
- Present data analysis, visualizations, and insights to team stakeholders
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- 2 to 5 years of experience in data analysis preferable
- Advanced level knowledge of SQL and database structures
- Knowledge of BI and reporting tools or demonstrated ability in getting up to speed on new tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools)
- Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred but not required:
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R)
- Experience with data warehouses (eg, Snowflake, Redshift)
- Experience with account fraud or other types of online fraud detection
