We are hiring a Data Scientist to join the team at WHOOP. This is a key role with the potential to drive significant impact for the business. You’ll work on some of the biggest analytical questions for the product, building models and tools that shape how we interact with our members.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative person with an entrepreneurial spirit, strong technical skills, and a bias towards action. Direct-to-consumer experience is preferred but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to all the stages of data science projects, from transforming data to implementing models and presenting business recommendations
• Build and productize ML models of member behavior – such as engagement propensity and dynamic LTV
• Build data science tools that help us drive efficiency and scale the team
• Contribute to revenue forecasting and optimization of business levers
• Identify and build new datasets that would enhance models and decision making
• Proactively identify insights and tell the story

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience building and deploying machine learning models
• Strong problem framing skills
• 3+ years of full-time professional experience as a data scientist
• Experience influencing strategy through compelling, data-centric presentations
• Proficient in Python

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
