We are looking for a passionate, curious and self-motivated professional to join our Corporate Development team as an analyst. The role will allow you to develop your analytical skills and deal execution capabilities, build relationships inside and outside the organization and help drive management decisions. The right person will be biased to action, collaborative, analytical and strategic, and most importantly, eager to learn, be stretched and excited to make a difference in the music creation space. 


This team (including Strategy and Corporate Development) drives growth by sourcing, evaluating, negotiating and executing exciting acquisitions, strategic opportunities and partnerships -- and then work to make them happen. Consisting of experienced merger-and-acquisition leaders, investment professionals, strategy specialists, and integration experts, we are dedicated to identifying where we should go next. We find and evaluate acquisition and strategic opportunities across existing and future markets, drive management team conclusions, head agreement facilitations, and help manage post-acquisition integration.


As a Corporate Development Analyst, you'll work collaboratively across functions (including Product, Eng, GTM, Legal, Finance) to identify, evaluate, and help facilitate and develop strategic opportunities. You'll provide the management team with the needed insight to drive intelligent, sound decision-making, while building a deep understanding of the industry landscape.

You Will:

  • Understand strategic initiatives, and industry trends to identify, recommend and pursue companies/technologies that can satisfy those objectives
  • Identify and educate executives on new, innovative technology trends and markets to enable effective management decisions
  • Drive competitive intelligence for the group: understand what key players and partners are doing and build and succinctly communicate a perspective on their strategic direction
  • Participate in all aspects of deal execution including due diligence, financial modeling and negotiations, as well as work alongside integration team to manage post-acquisition integration
  • Build relationships with internal cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, finance and legal functions
  • Build connections with key investors, advisors and start-up ecosystems

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, product/corporate strategy, corporate development, venture capital, or investment banking ideally within the technology or creative industry
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional leadership to turn insights into actions
  • Ability to grasp complex technical and product concepts to formulate and articulate business, financial and other points of value to leadership team
  • Critical thinker, with demonstrated quantitative and qualitative investigative skills, fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and other quantitative analyses
  • Highly collaborative with excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable adapting to rapid change common in tech environments

You May Have:

  • Subject matter expertise in music production / audio engineering
  • Deal negotiation experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of technology with an acumen to engage with product and engineering leaders on tech roadmaps

We have a thoughtful approach when it comes to compensation. Towards the end of each interview process, we create customized compensation reports based on skill, years of experience, geographic location, and other factors driven by market research. Specific details may be discussed during the initial call with the Talent Acquisition Partner. Market data in Colorado suggests this position’s compensation would start at $80k based on geographic location and skill level. Upon assessment of the individual’s experience an exact amount will be determined.
