The Corporate Development Analyst will be a member of our Corporate Development team and assist in executing our inorganic strategy, as a means to accelerate growth and acquire new capabilities. You’ll develop a deep understanding of our business and operations and how to accelerate them. You’ll intimately understand our operations, working side by side with business leaders, product managers, engineers and Company leadership.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Assist in the evaluation of potential opportunities, which includes a robust idea generation and screening process that will bring quality acquisition and investment ideas to the executive team
- Support all aspects of the deal process, including sourcing, qualification, initial rationale/pitch, financial modeling, due diligence and closing & integration activities
- Develop a project plan and coordinate cross-functional deal teams
- Conduct and / or lead key qualitative (e.g., inorganic strategy development, competitive landscaping, industry analyses, etc.) and quantitative (e.g., all aspects of financial modeling) analyses in support of deals / deliverables
- Deliver in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape and new market opportunities
- Develop management reports, board presentations as requested
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development in the technology sector
- Proven subject matter expertise in all aspects of the M&A process including deal structuring, negotiation, integration planning, and execution of deals
- Strong analytical skills, fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and broad quantitative analyses and familiarity with accounting & key operational metrics
- Influential and effective communicator and the ability to calibrate style
