Analytics Manager
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is hiring a thought leader for an Analytics Manager who is analytical and enthusiastic about democratizing talent acquisition data to join our team in Boston, MA. As a leader you will be responsible for informing transformational hiring programs, analyzing data from various systems, and visualizing it into dashboards for consumption across the organization.
You will partner closely with talent acquisition leadership, HR operations, the various HR COEs, and business leaders to understand short- and long-term business priorities and the needs for talent acquisition data. You will lead at the intersection of analytics and strategy and be responsible for producing business-critical insights which enables the talent acquisition organization to move faster and make better decisions through the successful delivery of analytics, reporting, and recommendations.
What You'll Do:
- Will report to an Associate Director Talent Acquisition and will partner closely with TA and HR leaders across the organization
- Will be a subject matter expert reporting and analytics specific to TA and will interface directly with VP level leaders
- Conduct primary and secondary research and analysis of TA analytics and best practices to provide core insights to the TA leadership team
- Dive into hiring trends to identify opportunities, success profiles, and builds out core insights
- Use the trends and data to inform Best Practices, standardize work, and helps develop long-term strategies
- Build analytics that helps VP level leaders make data driven decisions and predictive modeling
- Partner with People Analytics to identify trends in attrition to build talent solutions
- Gather analytical needs of recruiting teams and transform the requirements into visualized solutions and recommendations
- Provide recommendations by analyzing recruiting processes and systems
- Operationalize data with visualization which provides “at a glance” visibility of the team’s KPIs
- Perform complex analysis of expenses and sourcing actions
- Develop capacity planning models and visualization of resource to plan
- Analyze operational performance data to calculate and measure potential risks in production
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Statistics, Engineering, or a related area of study
- 5-8 years of experience in Staffing, Recruiting, HR, Operations, Consulting or similar field
- Expert in using Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, etc.), SQL, and/or Python to solve complex problems with efficiency
- Able to create concise, and effective presentations (written, visual and verbal)
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong analytical skills and a proven problem solver
- Process oriented: able to create new processes for new, as well as existing issuesHigh attention to detail with ability to identify and troubleshoot issues with data
- Dedicated, with a high sense of urgency. Willing to do whatever it takes to get tasks done quickly
- Able to work independently and prioritize with direction from a supervisor and various senior stakeholders
- Position may require travel
