Runs end-to-end data readiness assessments across enterprise source systems, including source connections, scans, profiling, quality analysis, scorecards, issue lists, and migration baselines. Validates findings with SQL, investigates defects, evaluates duplicates and sensitive data, establishes tolerances, and translates results into migration design, effort, and reconciliation decisions while collaborating directly with client data stewards.

Perficient has a career opportunity for a Data Readiness Analyst to join our team. Candidates can be based in most major metro areas in US near airport, and be willing to work on hybrid basis if/when needed and travel up to 25% if/when needed.

Responsibilities

The Data Readiness Analyst runs and executes Perficient DRA (Data Readiness Assessment) against every in-scope source system: Oracle ATG, SAP ECC and SAP CPQ extracts, and Stibo STEP. Turns the findings into the decisions the programme is built on. Operates the tool independently end to end, connecting each source, configuring and running the scans, interpreting the output, and standing behind the findings with the client’s data stewards. Produces the domain scorecards, the pre-cutover issue list, and the measured baselines and tolerances that the migration’s reconciliation gates are later built against.

Qualifications
  • Hands-on operation of a data profiling and quality platform end to end: connecting sources, configuring rule sets, running scans, interpreting output.
  • Perficient DRA preferred; Informatica IDQ, Oracle EDQ or Collibra acceptable with ramp-up.
  • SQL fluency, particularly Oracle, able to validate what the tool reports and investigate what it flags.
  • Data profiling and classification: completeness, validity, uniqueness, consistency, referential integrity, and the judgment to separate a real defect from a benign pattern.
  • Duplicate detection, clustering and survivorship, including what to resolve before a migration rather than carry into a new system.
  • Sensitive-data classification, with a working understanding of GDPR and data residency, enough to design scans that profile in place and move only aggregated results.
  • Able to translate findings into design and effort implications; the output is decisions and a re-baselined estimate, not a report.
  • Client-facing: agreeing tolerances and adjudicating exceptions directly with business data stewards.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
  • Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Must be open to travel (up to 25%, as needed)
  • Preferred east coast or Midwest locations near one of the Perficient offices, including Chicago, IL, Dallas, Houston or Austin TX, Charlotte NC, Atlanta, GA, Denver, CO, Detroit, MI, and other locations near airport may be considered.
  • Preferred: SAP-sourced data profiling, product/catalog data at scale, multi-country address verification, Python
