Overview:

Precisely’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, part-time opportunity for undergraduate students actively enrolled in university. This is an 10-week program that begins Monday June 8, 2026 and ends Friday August 14, 2026. This opportunity is 100% remote and you must be located in the United States during the summer internship. The Data Operations and Business Intelligence Intern will work closely with the IT Info Systems team.

This intern will help build a “Talk to Your HR Data” AI agent—an initiative modeled after our successful Sales and ARR chatbot POCs. They will support the design and development of a natural language interface that enables HR partners to query workforce datasets (headcount, retention, hiring pipeline, org structure, etc.) using AI. Deliverables include a working proof of concept, HR focused target questions, semantic models, and documentation for future expansion.

What you will do:

  • Help design and build a natural‑language HR Data Agent leveraging Snowflake, Copilot, and LLM‑based components—following similar architectures used in prior chatbot POCs.
  • Participate in discovery activities, including reviewing HR data sources, metadata, and defining target questions modeled after the “10‑topic” framework used in earlier POCs.
  • Assist in creating semantic views, agent workflows, and evaluation criteria for accuracy, completeness, and usability.
  • Implement and test AI agent functionality within the Snowflake environment.
  • Support user acceptance testing with HR partners to validate relevance and clarity of AI‑generated insights.
  • Contribute to documentation, code organization, and knowledge‑transfer materials.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to refine the solution.
  • Identify enhancement opportunities and propose recommendations for future phases.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or data modeling concepts.
  • Interest in AI, LLMs, and natural language interfaces.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in an iterative development environment.
  • Comfort exploring new tools and frameworks such as Snowflake and Microsoft Copilot.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in translating business questions into data/AI requirements.

Program benefits:

  • Valuable experience related to the degree you are pursuing.
  • Hands on experience at an established tech company.
  • Networking opportunities with company leaders around the globe.
