We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, verifying, and maintaining information in company databases, spreadsheets, and computer systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy. The successful candidate will handle confidential information professionally and ensure that records are complete, accurate, and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data accurately into databases, spreadsheets, and company systems.
  • Review information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Update existing records and correct errors or missing information.
  • Verify data by comparing information from multiple sources.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical records.
  • Process invoices, forms, reports, applications, orders, and other documents as assigned.
  • Perform routine data entry and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate customer, employee, inventory, financial, or operational records.
  • Retrieve information from databases and prepare reports when requested.
  • Scan, upload, file, and organize documents electronically.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and company information.
  • Identify duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate records and report discrepancies.
  • Communicate with other departments to obtain or verify information.
  • Follow company procedures for data entry, documentation, and recordkeeping.
  • Meet established accuracy, productivity, and turnaround-time standards.
  • Assist with general office and administrative duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous data entry or administrative experience preferred but not always required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good typing and keyboarding skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and email.
  • Ability to learn databases and company-specific software.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in data entry, office administration, records management, customer service, or clerical work.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, accounting, inventory, or database software.
  • Experience processing large amounts of information.

Work Environment
