We are seeking an experienced and strategic Lead Healthcare Analytics Analyst to drive data-informed decision-making across our Managed Services Organization (MSO). This role serves as a trusted analytics partner to operational and executive leaders, supporting key business functions including Provider Contracting, Network Development, Compliance, Claims Operations, Accounting, and Finance.
The Lead Healthcare Analytics Analyst will oversee complex analytical initiatives, lead analysts, and transform healthcare data into actionable insights that improve operational efficiency, financial performance, quality outcomes, and total cost of care. This individual combines deep healthcare analytics expertise with leadership, business acumen, and a passion for leveraging data to solve complex organizational challenges.
You will focus on:
Analytics Leadership & Strategy
Lead and mentor a team of healthcare analytics professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
Partner with executive leadership and operational stakeholders to define analytics priorities and align solutions with organizational goals.
Drive the development and execution of analytics strategies that support operational excellence and business growth.
Reporting & Business Intelligence
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions that provide actionable insights across the organization.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational, financial, provider, and quality performance.
Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise recommendations for business leaders and stakeholders.
Data Analysis & Insights
Analyze healthcare data across multiple domains including:
Claims
Eligibility
Provider Network
Utilization Management
Clinical Quality
Financial Performance
Population Health
Identify trends, performance gaps, risks, and opportunities that support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct ad hoc analyses and special projects to address emerging business needs.
Operational Partnership
Collaborate with leaders across Contracting, Provider Network Management, Compliance, Claims Operations, Accounting, and Finance to support operational and strategic initiatives.
Provide analytical support for provider performance management, network expansion strategies, value-based care programs, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Develop data-driven recommendations that improve efficiency, provider engagement, member outcomes, and total cost of care.
Data Governance & Process Improvement
Promote data integrity, governance standards, and reporting consistency across analytics platforms and solutions.
Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and streamline workflows through innovative analytical approaches.
Support enterprise data initiatives and contribute to the development of scalable analytics infrastructure and best practices.
The Skills, Experience & Education You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, data management, or related analytical roles.
Minimum of 2 years of experience leading projects, mentoring analysts, or managing analytics teams.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and data analysis methodologies.
Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power Query, Power BI or Tableau.
Experience working with healthcare data warehouses, Epic/Caboodle, claims systems, and healthcare datasets.
Strong understanding of managed care operations, healthcare finance, provider network analytics, claims processing, and utilization management.
Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting analytics for Managed Services Organizations (MSOs), Independent Physician Associations (IPAs), Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), or health plans.
Experience developing enterprise analytics strategies and leading cross-functional initiatives.
Knowledge of value-based care, risk adjustment, population health management, and quality measurement programs.
Experience with healthcare interoperability standards, clinical data models, and data governance frameworks.

The Base Salary for this position is $89,250 - $107,100/year

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
