Cybersecurity Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Perform a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized Cybersecurity problems.  

• Tasks involve integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, or technology problems as they relate to cybersecurity requirements.  

• Analyze information security requirements.  

• Applies analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of workflow, organization, and planning.  
• Provides security engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

Experience: 

• Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience 

• Experience implementing modern security solutions (e.g., Blockchain or related cryptographic research) 

Certifications: 

• IAT Level II Certification – one of the following:  

• CCNA Security 

• CySA+ 

• GICSP  

• GSEC  

• Security+ CE 

• CND 

• SSCP  

• CNDSP-IS Certification – one of the following: 

• CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) 

• EC-Council Certified Network Defender (CND) 

• EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) 

• CompTIA Cloud+ 

• Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP 

• Computing environment certification - examples listed below: 

• MS Azure Fundamentals 

• CCST IT Support 

• Azure Data Engineer Associate 

• Vendor Specific Certification - one of the following: 

• Microsoft Purview 

• Forcepoint DLP 

• Forcepoint DSPM 

Clearance:

• Actve Secret, IT-II (T3) clearance and eligibility for an IT-I (T5) clearance

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team supporting Engineering Support for DLP and FCA. This effort provides continued support for the deployment of and operationalization of data loss preventions technologies.

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $110,000.00 - $155,000.00. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
