Job Responsibilities
- Will drive Application Portfolio Optimization by documenting Application characteristics, relationships to other objects, application to business alignments to capabilities and processes, and defining data being processed by applications.
- Responsible for overseeing application rationalization initiatives based on captured data, conducting analyses, performing risk assessments, and making recommendations for modernization.
- Working with the customer architecture team to maintain and update the Enterprise Architecture (EA) strategy, roadmap, and plans.
- Serve as the SME for enterprise architecture tools, including Alfabet.
- Will work with the customer engineers to centralize EA data in the customer data platform. Will organize and often chair working groups related to EA.
- Provide high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff.
- Develop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines. (c) Develops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy.
- Advise on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
- Set standards for the client/server relational database structure for the organization (SQL, ORACLE, SYBASE, etc.).
- Advise of feasibility of potential future projects to management.
Key Qualifications
- 5 years of related and professional experience
- Bachelors Degree
- Current Government Clearance or ability to obtain
- Application Portfolio Optimization (APO)
- Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP)
- Ability to work well in team environments and collaborate with others
