Our client is looking for a Customer Support Representative specialized in Restaurant Catering & Events to join their growing remote team. Operating in the competitive food service and catering industry, they have built a strong reputation for delivering memorable dining experiences and have expanded their catering and events operations significantly in recent years.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for B2B catering and events clients, managing inquiries via phone and email
- Handle the full order lifecycle: intake, updates, modifications, and cancellations
- Coordinate seamlessly between restaurant staff, delivery drivers, and clients to ensure smooth operations
- Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency
- De-escalate customer concerns and provide solution-oriented resolutions
- Perform general customer service duties as needed to support the broader team
Requirements
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills — both phone and email proficiency are essential
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a B2B environment
- Strong ability to de-escalate tense situations while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
- Comfortable multitasking and coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders simultaneously
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer support, client relations, or account coordination
- Familiarity with catering platforms, CRM tools, or restaurant management systems is a plus
- Experience working in or with the restaurant and/or catering industry is desirable but not required
- Proficiency with Google Suite and VoIP/communication platforms
