Multiple companies within our portfolio are actively seeking Technical Product Managers with expertise in crypto infrastructure and Layer 1/Layer 2 (L1/L2) blockchain projects.

This is not a listing for an internal role at Dragonfly. This posting is to connect you directly with one or more of our portfolio companies that are actively hiring for Technical Product Managers. If this description doesn’t match your background exactly but you’re passionate about crypto and have relevant experience, we encourage you to apply—we may have other opportunities that are a better fit.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in product management, with at least 1 year in the crypto, DeFi, or blockchain space, focusing on L1/L2 blockchain or DeFi protocols. Previous experience as a software engineer is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of blockchain architectures, consensus mechanisms, and smart contract development. Familiarity with the Cosmos SDK and ecosystem tools is advantageous.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive product strategy from ideation to execution.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

About the Role(s):
Depending on the team, you could be:
  • Driving Product Strategy: Leading the development and execution of product roadmaps for L1/L2 blockchain solutions, ensuring alignment with market needs and company goals.
  • Collaborating with Engineering Teams: Working closely with developers to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient blockchain infrastructure.
  • Engaging with the Community: Interacting with developers, users, and other stakeholders to gather feedback, identify pain points, and prioritize features that enhance the ecosystem.
  • Monitoring Industry Trends: Staying abreast of the latest developments in blockchain technology, DeFi, and related fields to inform product decisions and maintain a competitive edge.

Even if you don’t match every point above but are a seasoned professional passionate about crypto, we encourage you to apply—there may be other opportunities that fit your skill set.

Process:
  • We’ll confidentially match you with portfolio companies aligned with your background, skill set, and interests.
  • If mutual interest exists between you and a team, we’ll facilitate a warm introduction.
  • If there isn’t a match today, we’ll keep you top of mind for future opportunities.

Our portfolio companies are globally distributed, offering remote, hybrid, and in-person roles worldwide. They’re building across the entire crypto ecosystem—including DeFi, CeFi, infrastructure, L1s and L2s, creator/consumer applications, NFTs, ZK, Crypto x AI, and more. All candidate submissions are strictly confidential.

Submit your information below, and we’ll reach out if there’s a potential fit.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
