Job Description

Job Summary:

 The Credit Risk Analyst II will play a key role in developing Exeter’s credit loss forecast and providing variance analysis. This mid-level position will support the loss forecasting team in improving tools and processes, ensuring compliance, and performing ad-hoc analysis to investigate variances.

Job Duties:

  • Execute monthly loss forecasting, including securitization, warehouse, and loan loss reserves forecasting.
  • Provide variance explanations and communicate results to management.
  • Monitor daily operations and solve day-to-day challenges.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to loss forecasting tools, models, and processes.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and generate insights aligned with business objectives.
  • Build effective working relationships with other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with Exeter’s policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Education and Work Experience:

  • College degree in a job-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in credit analytics, loss forecasting, or finance/accounting.
  • Proficient in Excel and SQL.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
