As our firm expands, we have an opportunity for an experienced Tax Partner to join our growing Boston Tax practice. In this highly visible role, you’ll be responsible for leading a team that is focused on tax compliance and tax provision outsourcing for middle-market, private equity backed and public companies. You’ll use your client service team leadership skills, acting as a role model, to provide coaching, mentoring, and training in the development of a client services team.
We're looking for a results-driven partner who will contribute to expanding the practice by using their strong professional network of business contacts and referral sources and by engaging in business development opportunities with other firm leaders. Exceptional business development experience and client relationship skills are necessary.
Our ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of middle market commercial industries including Technology, Private Equity, or similar. Prior International or M&A tax-related experience is desirable. This position will be based in Boston or Waltham and relocation assistance may be provided. Limited travel should be expected.
Qualifications:
- Must have an active CPA license.
- Experience in business taxation with a large local, regional, or national public accounting firm with a focus on providing federal (ASC 740), multi-state, international tax-related compliance and consulting services to large middle market clients and U.S. based subsidiaries of foreign multinationals.
- Technology and/or Private Equity/VC industry experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in driving growth.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaborating with other partners and for providing guidance to clients as their “trusted advisor.”
- Strong leadership and staff development skills for coaching a client service team.
- Excellent problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
