Hogan Lovells Cadwalader is seeking mid-to-senior level Mergers & Acquisitions Associates with 3+ years of experience to join its sophisticated and growing national M&A practice. Working alongside market-leading practitioners, associates will advise public and private companies, strategic investors, and private equity sponsors on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including some of the most high-profile and innovative deals in the market.

Ideal candidates will have substantial experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing diligence processes, and executing mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. Experience with public and private company M&A, federal securities laws, and/or Delaware corporate law is preferred, while experience representing technology and life sciences companies is a plus. Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to integrate evolving legal technologies and workflow tools into their practice to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness.

Candidates should possess outstanding academic credentials, excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills, and be confident leading workstreams and serving as a key point of contact for clients and deal teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, collaborate seamlessly across offices and practices, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment while contributing to the development of junior lawyers.

This opportunity is open to candidates in any of our U.S. offices, with a preference for Silicon Valley, Boston, Denver, and New York. Candidates must hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and be admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction where they will practice.

The expected base salary range for this role is $260,000 to $390,000 per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of pay at the time of posting; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as the candidate's qualifications and experience. This position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, which may include annual performance-based and discretionary bonuses. Employees in this role are also eligible for firm-sponsored benefits, subject to applicable plan terms and conditions, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; and paid time off.
