Mid-level transactional tax associate to handle corporate, partnership, and international tax matters for M&A, joint ventures, and complex domestic and cross-border transactions. Duties include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating tax provisions, legal research, and client advising, working with senior lawyers and cross-office teams. Strong analytical, writing, and client-service skills are required.

Represent clients in complex life sciences patent litigation and Hatch-Waxman matters before federal courts and the PTAB. Manage discovery, depositions, expert engagement, strategic counseling, and drafting/advocacy while collaborating with technical teams and providing exceptional client service.

Serve as subject-matter expert for electronic billing: monitor eBilling submissions and rejections, resolve discrepancies with attorneys and clients, manage client e-billing setups, modify LEDES/XML files, prepare reports, support collections, and assist on special projects under the Electronic Billing Manager.

Provide high-quality administrative support to attorneys including calendar management across time zones, client interaction, email/phone screening, time and billing entry and reviews, expense and vendor payment handling, travel coordination, document creation and filing, client/matter setup and conflict checks, and coordinating meetings and reporting. Maintain confidentiality and use firm systems to improve efficiency.
