The Corporate Controller builds a trusted global accounting function that scales with the company. Success means predictable closes, trusted balance sheets, documented accounting positions, well-managed audits, embedded controls, managed risks, clear ownership, strong talent, and less manual work. The mission for this role is to build an accounting organization that the company can trust and that will not need to be rebuilt every time the company scales.

This role is remote, based out of the United States.

Who You Are

  • Senior accounting leader with deep technical judgment and strong operational discipline.
  • 15+ years leading accounting or controllership teams in complex organizations.
  • CPA or equivalent, with deep US GAAP and financial reporting expertise.
  • Experienced in technology, semiconductor, hardware, manufacturing, or similar environments.
  • Skilled at scaling teams, controls, systems, and processes through rapid growth.

  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close quality, speed, and predictability.
  • Set accounting policy across revenue, inventory, leases, equity, debt, and foreign currency.
  • Partner early with Commercial, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Operations, and Strategic Finance.
  • Build controls into workflows while protecting execution speed, replace manual accounting work with ERP, automation, data, and AI-enabled tools.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
